High up in the sky, there are dark, heavy clouds. A storm is on its way. Inside one of the clouds, several droplets of water are joining together to form a raindrop. The raindrop gets heavier and heavier. Soon, it is too heavy to stay in the cloud, so it falls to the ground. It's raining! The raindrop starts its long journey.
The raindrop bounces off a tree branch and lands on a man's hat. From there, it falls onto soft green grass. Here, it meets many interesting insects, but it can't stay in the grass for too long. Like all water, the little raindrop keeps flowing downward. It flows until it joins a small stream. The stream carries the raindrop to a river. Onwards goes the raindrop until it flows down into the big ocean.
Now the sun is coming out. The warm sun shines on the water and turns the raindrop into water vapour. The vapour rises from the ocean and travels up into the sky. The raindrop is back at its starting point.
But is its journey really over? No, it isn't! Up in the sky, the cold air turns the vapour back into tiny droplets. Once again, they join together to form a little raindrop. The raindrop gets heavier and falls. The cycle begins once more.
