Long long ago, there lived a very big bird. Its name was Peng. One day, a little sparrow(麻雀) saw Peng and felt excited.
The mother sparrow said to the little sparrow, “This big bird is Peng. While Peng is flying, its wings look like huge clouds covering the sun in the sky. Peng can fly from the Northern Sea to the Southern Sea, covering a distance(距离) of 90,000 li.” The little sparrow could hardly(几乎不) understand Peng’s great flying ability(能力). It asked, “Well, I can only fly a few yards. But I am quite satisfied. Why does Peng need to fly over 90,000 li?” The mother sparrow replied, “Peng has great ambition(志向). It is trying its best to achieve a great goal.”
