1. 第1题:题干关键词为“schoolwork(学业)”,回到原文Jenny的发言中,她提到“could help with your problems in all the subjects”,说明Jenny能解决学业问题,对应选项A。
3. 第3题:逐一分析选项:A选项,并非所有候选人都关注学习(如Albert关注午餐、Mark关注校园活动),错误;B选项,Albert的目标是“longer lunch breaks and healthier desserts”,不只是延长午餐时间,错误;C选项,Eva的目标是开设更多俱乐部、开通热线服务,是两种帮助学生放松的方式,正确;D选项,Mark的目标是“More game time and a better gym”,不只是增加游戏时间,错误。故排除A、B、D,选C。

Being bored is no fun, especially at work. However, a recent study from the Research School of Management at the Australian National University suggests that boredom may have an unexpected benefit.
In a study, 52 students were given a boring task of separating red beans from green ones for 30 minutes, while another group of 49 students were asked to create art projects with paper, beans and glue. Then both groups were asked to spend five minutes on a creative task.
▲
, the group that had performed the boring task produced more creative ideas than the group that had taken part in the art project.
“Boredom is not necessarily terrible based on my research,” says the study’s leader, Guihyun Park. “People want to get out of a boring state, so they tend to seek novelty(追求新奇), which can bring out creativity.”
For anyone in a creative field, boredom is not something to fear, but to embrace. J. K. Rowling has shared how she would spend hours sitting on the train, letting her mind fly, and coming up with new ideas for her stories. This boredom allowed her to tap into her creativity and imagination, leading to one of the most beloved book series ever.
However, studies have also found that not everyone experiences the same level of creative benefits from boredom. Park agrees that boredom can be harmful to some important work. “I would say in security(安保)jobs where you need to be watchful all the time, like police or security guards, boredom will keep your mind wandering(神游), which is really bad,” says Park.

1. 第4题:空格后是实验结果(无聊任务组创意更多),结合前文“unexpected benefit”,可知结果意外,需选表“惊讶”的副词;
2. 第5题:根据Park观点,无聊对创意领域有益,需定位选项中属于创意领域的职业;
3. 第6题:“embrace”所在句是“not...but...”结构,与“fear(害怕)”反义,需选表“接受”的词;
4. 第7题:需对应实验分组、结果及核心结论,匹配选项中的内容对应关系;
5. 【解析】根据Park观点“For anyone in a creative field, boredom is not something to fear”,设计师(B)属于创意领域,而警察(安保类)、会计、护士不符合,故选B。
6. 【解析】“not something to fear, but to embrace”中,“but”表转折,“embrace”与“fear(害怕)”反义,意为“欣然接受”,对应选项D,故选D。
7. 【解析】根据第二段:52人(Group A)做a boring task(1-a),49人(Group B)做a creative project(2-c);第三段:Group A能come up with more creative ideas(3-d);第四段:无聊能bring some unexpected benefits(4-b),对应选项C,故选C。
