       The Earth is our home. But today we are facing serious pollution and have 
nearly run out of some resources. Actions must be taken. We students can also 
start out small to help improve the environment. 
       I ride to school every day. I also take part in the activities of our school's 
club to help protect the local forests. We usually pick up the waste and put up 
posters to make people realize that the environment needs our help. 
       It's necessary to make each student realize the importance of starting out small.
More talks on protecting the environment can be given and some after-school 
activities can be organized. Start out small, and our society can be better and greener.
