Long long ago, there was a dog. One day, he had a large piece of meat in his mouth. When he walked on a small bridge, he looked down and saw himself in the water. He thought it was another dog and that dog also had a large piece of meat in his mouth. He said to himself, “I want to get his meat. Then I can have two pieces of meat.” Then he opened his mouth and barked at the dog in the water. At that moment, his meat fell into the water. How foolish the dog was!

很久很久以前，有一只狗。一天，它嘴里叼着一大块肉。当它走在一座小桥上时，低头看到了水里的自己。它以为那是另一只狗，而且那只狗嘴里也叼着一大块肉。它心里想：“我要拿到它的肉，这样我就能有两块肉了。” 于是，它张开嘴，对着水里的狗叫了起来。就在那一刻，它嘴里的肉掉进了水里。这只狗可真傻啊！
