Last Chinese New Year, I had lots of fun. I bought some new clothes, cleaned the house and made some jiaozi with my parents before the festival. On Chinese New Year's Eve, I had a big dinner with all my family members. We also watched TV and ate some jiaozi at midnight. On the morning of Chinese New Year's Day, my grandparents and parents gave me many red packets. Then we visited our relatives together on that day.
This Chinese New Year, I am going to stick couplets and the Chinese character “fu” on the doors and windows before the festival. I'm going to light fireworks with my parents in an allowable(允许的) place on Chinese New Year's Eve. If possible, I'm going to Shanghai on Chinese New Year's Day. I'm going to visit my cousins and spend the holiday with them.
