think a true friend should be helpful. 
      I have a close friend. His name is John. He is always ready to help 
me. Once I didn't pass my Maths exam and couldn't help crying. He 
came to comfort me. From then on, he helped me with my Maths 
because he was good at it. With his help, I am not weak in Maths any 
longer. 
      Friends play an important role in our lives. It is necessary for us 
to learn how to get on well with friends. First of all, we should help 
them when they are in need. What's more, we should share not only 
happiness but also sadness. Only in this way can our friendship last 
longer.
