When I was buying books in the bookstore, I met Mr Wu.
It took the workers several hours to clear the snow on the ground.
As years go by, China is getting richer and stronger.
After failing the exam, he said to himself, "I must work harder next time."
When I saw the old photo, memories of my childhood went through my mind.
The weather was hot and dark clouds filled the sky. Suddenly, heavy 
rain began to fall, and the river water rose fast. 
      Soon, the water rushed over the riverbank. It covered the grass and
roads. People were scared and ran in all directions. We ran quickly 
up a hill nearby. When I looked back, the water was everywhere. 
      After the water went down, the police checked if everyone was 
safe. They told us that heavy rain in the mountains far away caused 
the flood. Luckily, no one was hurt. Though we were still afraid, we 
felt happy to be alive.
