When I started Grade 8, I found Maths much harder than before. After failing
some tests, my Maths teacher talked to me and encouraged me not to give up.
This gave me strong drive to learn. I decided to work harder.
First, I listened to the teacher more carefully in class. I put up my hand in time
to ask questions when I didn't understand anything rather than keep quiet. Besides
schoolwork, I asked my teacher for other exercises and practised more. When
I had trouble, I taught myself by searching online or asked my classmates for
help. It came as no surprise that my Maths improved.
Now, I know that practice makes perfect. I will keep working as hard as possible. Maths is still difficult for me, but I believe I can do better!
