My favourite season in my hometown is summer. Summer comes with warm

sunshine and higher temperatures, usually around 25 to 30 degrees. It is sunny,

but sometimes we have showers. The sudden rain makes the hot air fresh and

clean. I usually wear T-shirts and shorts to stay cool.

I like to sit under the shade of the trees by the quiet streams. It's also great to

enjoy ice cream in the lazy summer afternoons. Sometimes I swim in the pool with

my friends. The ninth solar term mangzhong comes in June. When mangzhong

comes, crops grow well, and it's also a perfect time for farmers to plant. My 

best memory is helping my grandparents harvest crops. Summer here is really

wonderful! I love summer.
