Kites are popular in China. People use bamboo and paper to make kites. They have different shapes. Some may look like birds and some may look like dragons. They are all very colourful. People can see them from far places. China is the home of kites. Weifang in Shandong is one famous place for kite flying. There is a kite festival there in April. Thousands of kite lovers go there to watch and fly kites every year. I'm going there to see the kites flying in the sky this year. I'm sure I will enjoy my trip to Weifang.
