1He loved buying and looking at his beautiful clothes. One day, two brothers came to the city and told the emperor that they could make beautiful and special clothes for him, but he must give them silk and gold first. 2However, the brothers kept everything for themselves and cheated the emperor by saying that people couldn't see the clothes unless they were clever. The two brothers helped the emperor put on his new clothes. 3But he didn't want people to think he was stupid, so he said his new clothes were very beautiful. 4Nobody wanted to sound stupid, so everyone said his new clothes were beautiful. But suddenly, a young boy shouted, "Look! The emperor isn't wearing any clothes!" 5In fact, the emperor's so-called new clothes weren't true. What a funny story it is!
