Today is Sunday, so Peter doesn’t go out. He asks his parents about the traditional Chinese clothes—tangzhuang.
Some people think tangzhuang are Chinese clothes in the Tang Dynasty. In fact, a Tang Suit is not a suit of the Tang Dynasty but a suit with Chinese style. Just because the Tang Dynasty is so famous in the world, tangzhuang get the name.
Tangzhuang are designed in a special way. Silk is the first choice when picking materials for tangzhuang. Stand-up collars and symmetrical lapels (对称翻领) are different from other styles too.
Exquisite embroidery (刺绣) is another feature of tangzhuang. Even the little buttons (纽扣) are made with great details. These different buttons are the finishing touches of tangzhuang.
People usually put on tangzhuang for the Spring Festival or weddings. Chinese people think tangzhuang are special clothing for important events.
As time goes on, there are some changes in colours, materials and details of tangzhuang, but not in the form of the collar and buttons. Borrowing some styles from other designs, the now have a more fashionable, beautiful look.

Tom walks past the shop on the street corner. He stops to look at the front row of shoes, and he feels happy to see that the shoes he wants very much are still there. Looking down, he feels sorry for himself. He really wants to have them for his birthday.
He sadly walks away and thinks how to tell his mother about it. If she can, his mother will give him anything he likes. He always knows that, but he also knows very well she has little money. He decides not to go home at once, as he looks worried and his mother will notice it. So he goes to the park and sits on the grass. Then he sees a boy in a wheelchair (轮椅). He notices that the boy moves the wheels with his hands.
Tom looks at him carefully and is surprised to see the boy has no feet. He looks down at his own feet. “It’s fine not to wear those shoes,” he thinks.
There is no reason for him to feel sad any more. He feels relieved and smiles, thinking he is lucky enough.
