Embroidery(刺绣）was often regarded as “women’s work” in the past. And it was not common for a boy 1. (learn) it. Therefore, Fu Jian's parents didn't want 2. (he) to work in this industry at first. But Fu didn't care. He believed he could do it well.

I'm a small potato from Gansu Province. I used to envy my cousin in the Northeast. He is an important ingredient in the well-known dish disanxian (地三鲜), just like eggplants (茄子) and green peppers.
