When the spot reopened in late February, fewer than 10 people a day went to the deck, compared with about 200 now. Travellers can also choose small islands on the lake, where karst landforms and monkeys can be found.
Chun’an plans to make more favourable policies in the near future to attract travellers from far and wide, according to the county government. The policies aim to draw more people to the Qiandao Lake area.
