I'd like to tell you something about the Lantern Festival.
It is one of the most important festivals in China. It is usually in February or March. It can date back to the Han Dynasty.
There are quite a lot of traditions for this day. On this festival,we Chinese often make rabbit or flower lanterns and our family stay together to eat tangyuan. After dinner,we get out to guess riddles written on the lanterns,enjoy the moon and lanterns.
As a traditional festival,it has a special meaning in China. It is the first day when the moon is full in the Chinese lunar calendar. It's also a day for the family members to get together and enjoy the happiness.
My Favourite Festival
The Mid-Autumn Festival is my favourite festival. It usually comes in September or October. On that day, all the family members come back home from different places. They get together and have a big dinner. In the evening, people eat nice moon cakes and enjoy the full moon. Children can listen to the story of Chang'e. I like it best because I can enjoy moon cakes and see all my family members. I always have a good time at the Mid-Autumn Festival.
