My grandma is a gentle old lady. Like many women of her time, she has a talent for sewing (缝纫). She made all my childhood clothes on her own. Later, instead of making clothes, my grandmother would sew gloves or insoles(鞋垫) for me. She can't be with me all the time, but the love passed through her needle and thread warms me.

The final result wasn't as pretty as I imagined. But it was the best pencil case that I could make.
Just yesterday, my friend called me and said that every time she sees the pencil case, she thinks of me and the warm feeling.
