Since China cancelled(取消) tourist visas for South Korea, many young people are choosing to go to China after their work on Fridays. This lets them enjoy special things about a different country without messing up(搞砸) their normal jobs.
The new rule, which started on November 8, 2024, and will last until December 31, 2025, lets people from nine countries—Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, and South Korea—visit China without a visa for fun, work, family, or just passing through. A travel company in South Korea says that from November 1 to 21, they got 75% more requests(请求) for trips to China than before, and requests for tours in Shanghai went up(上升) by an amazing 178%.
