The Grand Canal (大运河) is a man - made waterway in eastern China. It runs from north to south. Dating from 2,500 years ago and running over 3,000 kilometres through the east of China, it is one of the world's oldest and longest canals. The China Grand Canal Museum is located on the bank of the ancient Grand Canal in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province.
The museum opened its doors to the public on 16 June, 2021.
