The art of Chinese New Year paintings has a very long history. It goes by *nianhua* in Chinese. It is an ancient handicraft. Its early form was a picture of the Door God during the Tang Dynasty. Lastly, when the preparation is finished, the printers paint colour on the colour board, and then put paper on the wood board and brush the paper.
