五、阅读短文,回答问题
Haoyuan Village lies in the Gobi Desert, next to Helan Mountain. In 2008, as part of an environmental improvement programme, it was decided that, with its long hours of sunshine, large temperature difference between day and night, and loose soil, the area was ideal for growing grapes. Su Jinping was among the first to plant vines (葡萄藤).
“The village used to be a terrible, lifeless place. The wind was so strong that the rocks moved. You couldn't see any birds in the sky. All you ever saw was desert. When the wind was strong, your mouth would be full of sand. The seedlings(幼苗)looked so weak. I didn't know if they would survive. Anyway, I planted and watered them. To my surprise, they survived!” Su says. “Now, see the bunches of grapes! All shining and heavy! For a farmer, it's such an exciting sight.”
Grapes love barren(贫瘠的)land. The more barren the land is, the higher the quality will be. Before planting the vines, people need to plant trees as a windbreak(防风林). The rule is that windbreaks should be at least 15% of the area. The grape vines themselves also act as a windbreak.
Thanks to grape growing, 230 square kilometres of desert on the eastern part of the Helan Mountains has been changed into an oasis (绿洲). 70% of Haoyuan's people have found jobs in the wine industry and make over 30,000 yuan more than before every year.
“It's magical. Desert has been turned green. I'll work hard to protect the mountains. Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable treasure!" Su says.

【解析】
1. 定位到短文第一段第一句“Haoyuan Village lies in the Gobi Desert, next to Helan Mountain.”,直接提取位置信息即可得到答案。
2. 根据第二段Su的表述“The village used to be a terrible, lifeless place.”,可知过去郝远村的环境糟糕且毫无生机。
3. 从第三段“Grapes love barren(贫瘠的)land. The more barren the land is, the higher the quality will be.”可知,土地越贫瘠,葡萄品质越高,所以贫瘠的土地是影响葡萄质量的关键因素。
4. 划线句“Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable treasure!”
