When the plane took off, it was night-time. I looked down and saw the city lights below shining in the darkness. It was a beautiful sight. When we landed at Toronto, it was snowing. I knew I had a lot to learn again. I had to pick up a new language since I only spoke Arabic. I also had to get used to colder weather and different customs. But this time, I felt no fear.
Now, four years has passed, and I can speak French and English well. I've also made a lot of friends. Adapting(适应) isn't easy, but it's not impossible.
