新素养 合作参与 I joined a band as a drummer in my middle school. I thought I would have fun playing the drums and meeting new friends. At first, it was easy, but a month later, it got difficult. I was only one who couldn't keep pace(节奏)with the other players. Our teacher, Angie, singled me out(把我单独挑出来)to keep practising everyone else got to relax. I felt ashamed as my teammates watched me fail so many times. Finally I got so tired of practising that I didn't care about doing it right.
“Are you giving up on me, Steve?” Angie asked. “Yes, I am,” I shouted. Angie sent me inside the music room, where I cried out. Then she came in and said, “Don't be sad. I believe you can make it!” She told me never to give up. She left me alone and I realized Angie was right—by giving up, I was also giving up on the team and (me). With her comfort, I decided to go on practising. However, I still couldn't play well. Knowing my difficulties, my teammates gave me a hand. They spent about three more hours (practise)with me every week. Thanks to their help, I began to keep pace with them. I played much (good)than before. Later, we performed (wonderful)in an important show.
In the past whole process, I (teach)a lesson. Although we each had our own job to do in a show, we would all work together (make)the show great. I felt accepted and understood the (important)of teamwork. I couldn't imagine what my school life would be like them. I loved everyone in the band.

We all want to protect our environment, but most of us are too busy or too lazy (make)big changes that will improve our lifestyle and save the environment.

You have lots of clothes or things you want to throw away. If they are still valuable, give them to someone who needs them. Not only will you protect the environment, but you'll also help people need.
Turn off your devices(设备)
When you don't use a house device, turn it off. For example, if you don't watch TV, turn it off. It's an easy habit (keep)energy and money can (save)by you.
Walk or ride bikes
Driving is one of the (big)causes of pollution. If you want to use your car, ask (you)the following question：Do I really need my car? Walk or use your bike if the journey is short.
Use rainwater
Rainwater is very (use)in our daily life, so try to hold it when it rains. The water can be used for different (purpose).
