In the forest, there is a rabbit. He can run very fast. He likes to have a race against other animals, and he always wins.
One day, he sees a turtle. "You are so slow. I'm very fast. Do you want to race against me?" he asks with a big laugh. "Yes," says the turtle. "Ha ha! It will be easy to win," laughs the rabbit.
"Tomorrow we'll have a race," says the rabbit. All of the animals are excited. The following day, the race starts. The rabbit runs fast. But the turtle walks slowly. Then the rabbit sees a tree. The turtle keeps walking. He is tired, but he never gives up. When the turtle walks past the rabbit, the rabbit sleeps under a tree. Finally, the turtle wins. When the rabbit wakes up, it's too late. The rabbit loses the race and cries. "Being slow and steady can always help us win the race," the turtle says.
