It’s important to have good manners. Having good manners can show that you’re polite to other people and make you more popular to be around.
Use “please” and “thank you” when you’re asking for something. When you need to ask for something, start by saying “please”. If someone does something for you, remember to say “thank you”. For example, you may say, “Could you please hand me that book?” When they hand you the book, don’t forget to say “thank you”.
