Raccoons (浣熊) are very cute. It seems that they are always wearing a mask. Actually, they are also quite clever.
Not long ago, some scientists tested a group of raccoons. In the test, they showed the raccoons a cylinder (圆筒状容器). There was food on the top of the water in the cylinder. But the food was too low for the raccoons to get.
The scientists showed the raccoons how to put stones into the water to raise the water level. Only two of the eight raccoons in the study repeated what they did. Does this mean raccoons are not clever enough?
Not at all! In fact, the other raccoons proved (证明) themselves to be creative. Some of them climbed onto the cylinder. They shook it back and forth until it tipped over (倾倒). At last they got the food inside. The others also had new ways to get the food.
From the test, we can see that the raccoons are not only clever, but also creative!
