In the city of Zhengzhou, there is a hotpot restaurant called Shengyousheng that is doing something very special. It gives jobs to people who are hearing-impaired—that means they cannot hear well or at all.
The restaurant's name includes the words "more" and "sound", which shows its hope to bring more voices into the world. The owner, Mr Wang, once met several hearing-impaired people who couldn't find jobs, and he was deeply moved. He wanted to create a place where they could work with dignity and show their abilities. About half of the workers there have trouble hearing, including 31-year-old Deng Wei, who works as the kitchen manager. He and his colleagues(同事)communicate with sign language.
